Two bases, one operating model: Abu Dhabi and Cairo

The group operates from its Abu Dhabi headquarters and a regional office in Cairo, placed where its assets actually are.

Al Qalaa International Group operates from its headquarters in the Ministries Complex Area of Abu Dhabi, with a regional office in Cairo.

The structure is deliberately narrow. Abu Dhabi holds the group's governance, investment committee and capital allocation functions, alongside its United Arab Emirates infrastructure, real estate, technology and essentials platforms. Cairo sits beside the group's Egyptian operating assets, most visibly the Gypto Alqalaa Pharma manufacturing complex, and handles counterparty relationships, regulatory engagement and day-to-day oversight on the ground.

The group's position is that an office should exist because an asset exists. Presence without operations adds cost and dilutes accountability; an office placed next to a plant, a project or a regulator does the opposite. With more than 700 employees across the two markets, the group originates, diligences and governs its ventures where they actually run rather than managing them remotely.

Additional locations will be assessed in line with sector expansion, with priority given to markets where the group holds or is building operating assets.
